What Ahrefs adds to Trackian

Connecting Ahrefs lets your AI agent read your Ahrefs data through Trackian's MCP: backlinks, organic keywords, rankings and keyword research, for your own site and for competitors. Next to Search Console and your analytics, that adds the market view your own data cannot give.

Good to know

Ahrefs is an external connector in beta. Your AI agent reads it on demand through Trackian's MCP; its data does not appear in Trackian's own dashboards or Sentinel yet, and Trackian never writes to Ahrefs. Every read uses your plan's API units, and a plan without API units can connect but cannot return data.

Before you connect

A workspace owner or admin creates the key in Ahrefs under Account settings → API keys. Copy the API key and paste it. Keys expire after a year, or when the person who created them leaves the workspace; then make a new one and reconnect.
