PostHog is an open-source suite of product tools: product and web analytics, session replay, feature flags, experiments and surveys, all on the same event data. It runs in PostHog Cloud (US or EU) or on your own servers.

What PostHog adds to Trackian

Connecting PostHog lets your AI agent read your PostHog project through Trackian's MCP: insights, dashboards, events and persons, or a HogQL query when a question needs one. That puts product behaviour next to the ads and channels Trackian already tracks.

Good to know

PostHog is an external connector in beta. Your AI agent reads it on demand through Trackian's MCP; its data does not appear in Trackian's own dashboards or Sentinel yet, and Trackian never writes to PostHog.

Before you connect

In PostHog, open Settings → Personal API keys, create a key with read scopes only, and paste it together with your cloud region (us or eu, the part of your PostHog URL before .posthog.com). A personal key works as the person who created it, so create it from an account that will stay on the team.
