Semrush is an online visibility platform for SEO, competitive research and advertising. Marketers and agencies use it to see how any domain ranks, which keywords bring it traffic, and who its competitors are.

What Semrush adds to Trackian

Connecting Semrush lets your AI agent pull Semrush reports through Trackian's MCP: domain overviews, organic and paid keywords, competitors, backlinks, and your Position Tracking and Site Audit projects. That adds the market view to your own Search Console and Google Ads data.

Good to know

Semrush is an external connector in beta. Your AI agent reads it on demand through Trackian's MCP; its data does not appear in Trackian's own dashboards or Sentinel yet, and Trackian never writes to Semrush. Every report line spends Semrush API units from your own balance, so your agent asks for only the rows it needs.

Before you connect

You need API access in Semrush: the API is an add-on to the Business plan, with its own unit balance. In Semrush, open the profile menu → My profile → API Keys, copy the key, and paste it.
