Four sources, one ChatGPT project.
Shopify's own plugin, Meta's connector added by its URL, a third-party connector for GA4 and Google Ads, or plain CSV exports, with the developer-only steps boxed so you can hand them over.
Who Really Earned the Sale? In-depth guide to building your own AI analyst in ChatGPT that combines GA4, Google Ads, Meta and your store - and where it breaks.

Project instructions, a definitions file on how each source counts a sale and a settings file, for a project with project-only memory. All three also come as a separate download, ready to fill in.
From what an order really costs to which orders GA4 missed: four SAFE lookups, eight VERIFY prompts that say what to check, and three that won't work without joined data.
Five questions on one closed week, checked against each platform and scored, with a look inside ChatGPT's code to see whether the right numbers went in. Re-run it after a model change.
Long app responses that can be cut short, Python that only sees what reached the chat, scheduled tasks that can't open your project files, and Shopify and Meta apps that can change your products and ads.
A task-by-task estimate of setup and upkeep. Ours for a typical small shop: a day to set up properly, then two to four hours a month to keep it honest.
that helps you set up the analyst project, then runs the trust test and the monthly check on your own numbers.

Honest note
The trust test proves ChatGPT reads your sources accurately. It can't prove your tracking is right, and Python can't fix the inputs: a cut-off app response or a purchase tag firing twice goes into the sum unchanged. Google's own servers need hosting or a tunnel set up by a developer, so most shops use a third-party connector for Google. Shopify's and Meta's apps can make changes, so approve read-only access where it's offered, as Shopify does, and confirm each change yourself. All hours are our estimates.
