The guide can't see your ad account. As of October 2026 TikTok's connector is listed in Claude's directory, and in ChatGPT it's added by its URL, where your plan and workspace allow it. TikTok doesn't describe a confirmation step on its side, so your assistant's tool permissions are the control, and an edit the assistant made isn't reversed for you. The trust test checks the AI against Ads Manager; whether TikTok's purchases match your store, or its leads match the ones you received, takes your own orders or lead list.
