Overview

What is Discord?

Discord is a messaging app built around servers and channels. Teams and communities use it for text chat, voice and video, and bots and webhooks can post updates into any channel.

What does it do?

  • Organises conversations

Servers with text channels, threads and forums by topic.

  • Connects people live

Voice and video channels you can drop in and out of.

  • Brings in updates

Bots and webhooks post alerts and reports into channels.

  • Controls access

Roles and permissions decide who sees and posts in each channel.

What Discord adds to Trackian

Connect a Discord server and Trackian posts to the channels you choose, so your team sees what changed without opening another dashboard. You decide which channel gets which messages, for the whole company or per project.

What you get

  • The daily summary

Yesterday's key numbers for your projects, every morning.

  • Sentinel alerts

Problems and opportunities Sentinel found overnight, with a link to the full finding.

  • KPI pacing alerts

A heads-up when a target is falling behind.

  • Reports from your agent

Ask your AI agent to send a report or a note to a channel through Trackian's MCP.

Before you connect

You need to be a Trackian owner or administrator, with the Manage Server permission in Discord. Add the Trackian bot to your server, or paste a channel webhook URL, then choose which messages each channel receives.
