Effective date: 1 June 2026 Version: 2.0
This Cookie Policy explains how TRACKIAN Ltd. (in Bulgarian: Тракиан ООД) (“Trackian“, “we“, “us“, or “our“) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions, both available in our Privacy Center.
By continuing to use our website and, where required, by accepting cookies through our consent banner, you agree to the use of cookies as described in this Policy. You can change or withdraw your choices at any time — see Section 6.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to the website’s operators.
We also use similar technologies such as tags, pixels, and local storage. In this Policy, we refer to all of these simply as “cookies“.
Cookies may be:
- First-party cookies — set by Trackian’s website directly; or
- Third-party cookies — set by other organisations whose services we use (for example, analytics or advertising providers).
They may also be:
- Session cookies — temporary cookies deleted when you close your browser; or
- Persistent cookies — cookies that remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them.
2. How we use cookies
We use cookies to:
- make our website function and keep it secure;
- remember your preferences and settings;
- understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it; and
- measure the effectiveness of our marketing and, where applicable, deliver relevant advertising.
Many of the cookies on our website are deployed through Google Tag Manager, a tool that lets us manage tags in one place. Google Tag Manager does not itself store personal data in cookies; it deploys the cookies described below according to your consent choices.
3. Consent
3.1. Strictly necessary cookies are always active because the website cannot function properly without them. They do not require your consent.
3.2. We manage cookie consent using the WordPress GDPR & CCPA consent plugin (by weLaunch), a self-hosted consent manager. By default, it blocks and deletes all non-essential cookies until you click “I accept” in the cookie popup. Until you give consent, functional, analytics, and marketing cookies are not placed (or, where supported, run only in a privacy-preserving mode via Google Consent Mode).
3.3. After giving consent, you can enable or disable individual services and cookie categories through the Privacy Settings in our Privacy Center. You can change or withdraw your decision at any time (Section 6).
4. Categories of cookies we use
The tables below describe the cookies we use or may use, grouped by category. Because some cookies are set by third parties and depend on your consent choices, the exact cookies present during any given visit may vary. Durations are indicative and set by the relevant provider.
4.1. Strictly necessary cookies
These are essential for the website to work and for security. They cannot be switched off in our systems.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Consent preferences cookie | Trackian (first-party), set by the WordPress GDPR & CCPA consent plugin | Stores your cookie consent choices so we don’t ask you on every visit | Up to 12 months |
| Session / security cookies | Trackian (first-party) | Maintain a secure session and core site functionality | Session |
4.2. Functional cookies
These enable enhanced functionality and personalisation, such as remembering your preferences. If you do not allow them, some features may not work as intended.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Preference cookies | Trackian (first-party) | Remember choices such as language or display settings | Up to 12 months |
4.3. Analytics and performance cookies
These help us understand how visitors interact with our website — for example, which pages are most visited — so we can improve it. The data is used in aggregate. These cookies are set only with your consent.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga |
Google Analytics (GA4) | Distinguishes individual visitors | 2 years |
_ga_<container-id> |
Google Analytics (GA4) | Persists session state for GA4 | 2 years |
4.4. Marketing and advertising cookies
These are used to measure marketing performance and, where applicable, to show you relevant advertising on other platforms. They are set only with your consent, and only where the corresponding tag is active on our website.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_gcl_au |
Google (Ads / conversion linker) | Measures ad conversions attributed to our site | 90 days |
_fbp |
Meta (Facebook) | Measures and optimises advertising delivered via Meta | 3 months |
_rdt_uuid |
Reddit (Reddit Pixel) | Measures conversions and builds audiences for advertising on Reddit | 90 days |
Note: The exact marketing cookies present depend on which advertising tags are active in our Google Tag Manager container at any time. If a tag is not enabled, its cookie is not set.
5. Third-party providers
Some cookies are set by third parties whose services we use. These providers process data under their own privacy and cookie policies, which we encourage you to review:
- Google (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads) — policies.google.com/technologies/cookies
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram advertising) — www.facebook.com/policies/cookies
- Reddit (Reddit advertising) — www.reddit.com/policies/cookies
We do not control cookies set directly by these third parties.
6. How to manage or withdraw your consent
6.1. Privacy Center / cookie settings. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the Privacy Settings in our Privacy Center, where you can enable or disable individual services and cookie categories. Withdrawing consent stops the relevant cookies from being set going forward; our consent plugin also blocks and removes non-essential cookies when consent is not given.
6.2. Browser controls. Most browsers let you view, block, and delete cookies through their settings. You can also set your browser to warn you before accepting cookies. Blocking all cookies may affect how our website functions. Guidance is usually available in your browser’s help section (for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge).
6.3. Deleting existing cookies. You can delete cookies already stored on your device through your browser settings at any time.
7. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for legal reasons. When we do, we will update the “Effective date” above. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
