Overview

What is Notion?

Notion is a workspace for docs, wikis, projects and databases. Teams keep their plans, briefs and trackers there, and databases add structure: rows with properties, shown as tables, boards, timelines or calendars.

What does it do?

  • Holds your docs

Pages, wikis and meeting notes with comments and templates.

  • Organises data

Databases with status, date, person and number properties.

  • Shows it many ways

Table, board, timeline and calendar views with filters and sorts.

  • Tracks projects

Tasks, roadmaps and sprints the whole team can see.

  • Workspace analytics: page views and engagement

  • Engineering tasks database

  • Product roadmap timeline

  • Task board

What Notion adds to Trackian

Connecting Notion lets your AI agent read the pages and databases you share with it through Trackian's MCP. Your campaign briefs, launch calendars and experiment logs become context the agent can use when it explains your numbers.

What you get

  • Context behind the numbers

Your agent can check the launch calendar or campaign brief when a metric moves.

  • Databases as data

Rows and their properties from shared databases, filtered and sorted.

  • You decide what it sees

Only the pages you pick during connection are visible; everything else stays private.

Good to know

Notion is an external connector in beta. Your AI agent reads it on demand through Trackian's MCP; its data does not appear in Trackian's own dashboards or Sentinel yet, and Trackian never writes to Notion.

Before you connect

Click connect and sign in to Notion. Pick the workspace, tick the pages and databases to share, and allow access. You can change what is shared later in Notion under Settings → Connections.

Connect Notion to Trackian

Your AI assistant reads it through Trackian's MCP, next to everything else you connect.
