Overview

What is Loop Returns?

Loop is a returns and exchanges platform for Shopify stores. Shoppers start returns in a branded portal, and Loop steers them towards exchanges and store credit so less revenue walks out the door.

What does it do?

  • Runs the returns portal

Shoppers choose a refund, exchange or store credit.

  • Keeps revenue

Exchanges and credit instead of refunds, with the retained revenue measured.

  • Explains returns

Return reasons by product, SKU and line item.

  • Flags problem products

Items returned more often than expected.

  • Exchange options in the return portal

  • Return policies by country

  • Refund approval rules

What Loop adds to Trackian

Connecting Loop lets your AI agent read your returns and the orders behind them through Trackian's MCP. Revenue in Trackian then has its other side: what came back, why, and whether it was kept as an exchange or refunded.

What you get

  • Returns in detail

Each return's items, reasons, outcome and shipping, for any date range.

  • Why products come back

Return reasons per product, to explain a margin that looks worse than sales suggest.

  • Campaigns with a catch

A promotion that sold well but came back in returns, found by your agent.

Good to know

Loop is an external connector in beta. Your AI agent reads it on demand through Trackian's MCP; its data does not appear in Trackian's own dashboards or Sentinel yet, and Trackian never writes to Loop.

Before you connect

In the Loop admin, open Returns management → Tools & integrations → Developer tools, click Generate API Key, tick the returns scope (and orders if you like), and paste the key. Developer tools are available on qualifying Loop plans.
